Terms of Use
Last updated: 19 August 2026
MARIA is operated by Oye Media, a digital agency based in New Delhi, India (“we”, “us”, “our”). These terms cover your use of MARIA at maria.oye.media, including the free tier and every paid plan. By creating an account you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company or agency, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.
1. What MARIA is — and what it is not
MARIA is a forensic analysis tool. You give it a rejected ad, its creative, its landing page and the rejection notice; it returns a ranked set of likely contributing factors, each citing the specific evidence behind it, together with an explicit list of what the evidence cannot settle.
Three limits are part of the product, not fine print:
- We are independent of Meta. MARIA is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Meta Platforms, Inc. We have no access to Meta’s review systems, classifier scores, account trust signals, enforcement history or reviewer notes, and we never claim to.
- No report can promise approval or reinstatement. A report identifies likely contributing factors and suggests changes that reduce identified risk. Whether Meta approves an ad or restores an account is Meta’s decision alone.
- Reports are not legal advice. They are risk guidance produced from the evidence you supply. If an enforcement event has legal or regulatory consequences for you, take proper advice.
Reports are produced with the help of an AI model working from a dated snapshot of Meta’s published advertising standards. The snapshot version is printed on every report. Advertising policy changes; a report reflects the corpus in force when it ran.
2. Your account
- You must be 18 or older and give accurate account details.
- You are responsible for everything done under your account, and for keeping your password secure. Tell us promptly if you think it has been compromised.
- Each plan includes a set number of seats. Do not share one login across a team beyond that.
- One organisation per account. Agencies file cases per advertiser inside a single workspace.
3. What you upload
You keep every right you have in the ad copy, creatives, screenshots and notes you upload. You grant us a limited licence to store and process that material for the sole purpose of running the investigation you asked for, producing your report, and supporting your account. We do not sell it, and we do not use your case material to train AI models.
You confirm that you have the right to upload what you upload — in particular:
- That you own or are authorised to use the creatives, copy and brand material in the case.
- That where a case belongs to a client, you have that client’s authority to submit it.
- That you are not uploading anyone’s personal or sensitive data beyond what the ad itself contains, and never payment card details, government identifiers or medical records.
4. Acceptable use
MARIA exists to help advertisers comply, not to help anyone get around enforcement. You must not use it to:
- Work out how to evade Meta’s review — cloaking, character substitution to defeat filters, fresh accounts to escape a restriction, or false identities. The engine treats described evasion as an aggravating signal and will say so in the report.
- Analyse ads for anything illegal under Indian law, or for content you know breaches Meta’s policies and intend to run anyway.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the service, its policy corpus or its outputs as a competing product.
- Upload malware, attack the service, or attempt to reach cases belonging to another organisation.
- Represent MARIA’s output as an official Meta decision, or MARIA itself as a Meta product or partner.
You may freely share a report with the client or colleague whose ad it concerns — that is what it is for.
5. Plans, billing and allowances
- Prices are shown on the pricing page in Indian Rupees. The price shown is exactly what you pay — nothing is added at checkout.
- Payments are processed by Razorpay on Oye Media’s merchant account. We never see or store your card details.
- Paid plans are billed in advance for the term you choose. They do not auto-renew silently — when a term ends the account returns to the free allowance and nothing is deleted.
- Each plan includes a number of investigations. One investigation is one completed analysis run; re-analysing an edited ad is another run. Runs that fail are not counted and not charged.
- Unused investigations do not carry into the next period.
- Cancellation and refunds are covered by our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
6. Service availability
We aim to keep MARIA available and correct, but we do not offer a formal uptime SLA on self-serve plans. An investigation depends on third-party services — an AI provider, and your landing page being reachable — and can fail for reasons outside our control. A failed run costs you nothing and does not consume your allowance.
We may change, add or remove features. Where a change materially reduces what a paid plan provides, we will tell paying customers by email before it takes effect.
7. Intellectual property
The report we produce for your case is yours to use, keep and share. The service itself — the analysis engine, the policy corpus, the scoring model, the interface and the MARIA name — remains ours. Nothing here transfers ownership of it to you.
8. Liability
MARIA produces probabilistic analysis. It can be wrong: it can miss a factor that mattered, or rank a factor above its real weight. You remain responsible for the ads you run and the decisions you take, including decisions taken after reading a report.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost advertising revenue, disapproved ads, suspended accounts, lost campaigns or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of MARIA. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud or for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.
9. Suspension and termination
You can stop using MARIA at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms — particularly the acceptable-use section — or that is used to attack or defraud the service. Where we close a paid account for a breach, we do not refund the remaining term.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top always reflects the current version, and we will email account holders before a material change takes effect. Continuing to use MARIA after that date means you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. If something goes wrong, write to us first — most billing and service disputes are resolved in a day. If a dispute is not resolved by good-faith discussion within 30 days, it is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi, India.
